Haywood Pantries Outreach is a volunteer ran, donation based mutual aid collective. Our goal is to bridge the gaps to ensure all families in Southern Appalachia have access to nutritious food, basic necessities and hygiene items. Haywood Pantries Outreach has almost 20 no barriers, 24/7 accesss food pantries across Southern Appalachian. Our team works hard to make sure community members have access to what they need. Due to mobility limitations, work schedules and other reasons, some people can’t make it to our outdoor units. We bridge that gap by doing community care pop ups, bringing food, supplies and hygiene products directly to neighbors.
